Apex Legends Weapons Guide

This time we will look at the guns in Apex Legends so that we can help you choose the one that suits your playstyle the best. The game is full with various kinds of Submachine Guns, Assault Rifles, Light Machine Guns, Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, and Pistols to choose from. One of the trickiest parts of the game is finding the best gun for you, that is why we will look over all of the guns for you.

First off we will start with the Submachine Guns which are the following:

1.       Alternator – People that have played Titanfall 2 will be able to recognize this gun right away as the 16 round fully-auto SMG appeared in the game. This gun that uses light ammo is used mostly for close quarters combat as its recoil makes it unsuitable for long range shooting. The damage output for it is 19 damage for headshots and 13 for body shots. The available attachments are barrel stabilizers, standard optics, extended light mags and standard stocks.

2.       R-99 – This light ammo wielding has an amazing rate of fire and is amazing in close quarters. Unfortunately the damage output is not the best so you will have to land most of your shots. It deals 18 damage for headshots and 12 damage for body shots. The available attachments are barrel stabilizers, standard optics, extended light mags and standard stocks.

3.       Prowler Burst PDW – This is the only SMG that uses heavy ammo but it is one of the top tier SMGs as its versatility and damage is amazing. The damage output is 21 per bullet for headshots and 14 per bullet for body shots but keep in mind that it is a burst rifle so if you land all of them the damage raises drastically. The available attachments are standard optics, extended heavy mags, standard stocks, and the Selectfire receiver hop up.

Next up are the assault rifles and they are:

1.       VK-47 Flatline – This gun boasts quite decent damage as it uses heavy ammo. Especially in the early game this gun is a beast and shreds through armor like its nothing. It is mostly used for close to medium range so keep in mind that long range fights with it will be hard. The damage output for it is 32 damage for a headshot and 16 for a body shot. The available attachments are standard optics, extended heavy mags and standard stocks

2.       Hemlok Burst AR – This is one of the best guns available right now because if you learn how to shoot with this heavy ammo burst AR you will be a beast. With its amazing 3-round burst it can take down enemies in no time. Its damage output is 34 per shot for headshots and 13 per shot for body shots. The available attachments are barrel stabilizers, standard optics, extended heavy mags and standard stocks.

3.       R-301 Carbine – This AR is considered the weakest in regards to damage but if you get all of the attachments for it this gun becomes amazing. Its accuracy is spot on and you can kill an enemy before they even know it as it has an amazing rate of fire as well. Its damage output is 28 per headshot and 14 per body shot. The available attachments are barrel stabilizers, standard optics, extended light mags and standard stocks.

4.       Havoc – This is the first weapon to be added to the game but since it can use two different hop ups its versatility is amazing. If you decide to go for the Turbocharger hop up its rate of fire goes up but if you decide to choose the Selectfire Receiver it will turn it into an amazing single shot rifle. Its damage output is 36 per headshot and 18 per body shot. The available attachments are standard optics, standard stocks and the two different hop ups.

Now we shall take a look at the following Light Machine Guns:

1.       Devotion – People that played Titanfall 2 will be able to recognize this gun as well since it makes its appearance in both games.
