Now let us get into the topic of the day, Zombies. As we all know this has been a staple in all COD games created by Treyarch. We have compiled quite a bit of official information for your convenience so that we can introduce to you all interesting changes to the game and Zombies themselves. We will take a look at what makes Call of Duty Vanguard Zombies different compared to previous titles.
Dar Aether Entities & Artifacts is the first topic we will handle. The main antagonist for this iteration is called Wolfram Von List. With the help of Dark Aether magic, he has formed a bond with Kortifex the Deathless who is a former lord with the power of necromancy. He is threatening to turn the tide of the Second World War. Although he is very powerful there are four rival Dark Aether Lords who will help us fight against this evil entity. Their respective names are Saraxis the Shadow, Bellekar the Warlock, Inviktor the Destroyer and Norticus the Conqueror. They all provide players with different abilities gained through Artifacts.
Mask of Bellekar: Cloaks the player in Dark Aether which masks your presence from enemies for 5 seconds.
Dragon of Saraxis: This ability spawns an Aethereal explosive, which deals massive damage to enemies.
Sword of Inviktor: This sparks a ring of Aetheral flame to boost damage for anyone within its radius for 15 seconds.
Horn of Norticus: This ability summons a frigid vortex, which damages enemies with the initial blast and slows those that enter.
The interesting thing about these legendary entities is that they are their own characters that bring different things to the table including a fully voiced narrative partly driven by them. Overall the main story will primarily be narrated by the demonologist Gabriel Krafft, Oberfuhrer Bon List and Kortifex the Deathless. The other lords will respectively add their own unique humor to the situation and will comment on quite a bit.
Now let us dive into a bit more about the game itself as well as the Altar of Covenants which brings 32 new upgrades with itself. The altar is one of the biggest and most interesting innovations introduced to the format. With this we will have access to new and powerful abilities in order to aid our progress through the game, which will respectively be provided in exchange for the new Sacrificial Heart item which can be acquired by completing Objectives.
At launch we will have 11 unique Covenants with multiple rarities that amount to a staggering 32 upgrades to explore. Initially we will have access to the following:
Death Blow: Critical kills will return bullets to your magazine.
Cryofreeze: With this one you will have a change to slow your enemies.
Resurrectionist: With this one we will be able to revive our teammates faster and keep them in the fight.
Bloodlust: Your melee attacks will do more damage and heal you.
Brain Rot: This is an interesting one as it gives a chance to turn enemies to your side.
Ammo Gremlin: All your stowed weapons will refill their ammo from stock automatically.
Splatterfest: Enemies that you kill with explosions might explode.
Cull the Weak: With this one you deal more damaged to enemies under crowd control effects.
Mother Lode: This offers a chance to keep your Equipment after using it.
Dead Accurate: All consecutive gits on the same enemy do more damage.
We will be able to have up to three covenants at a time and the ones you can choose are randomized after each Objective is completed so you will always have different ones to choose from which will lead to a different experience every time. The other interesting thing we can do is alternate Ammo Types as with previous games which will combine new and old features.
We will be able to experiment with different combinations of Covenants, Artifacts, Perks and weapons every run which will make it quite a bit more interesting compared to other installments. We will be able to forge our own method of gameplay which is always appreciated from gamers. There will be various of combinations that work better for solo or squad play, which is all decided by the player, so that they fit their needs. The real strength in this system lies in the upgrades as they make abilities even more useful. For example we have Cull the Weak which deals +50% damage to slowed or stunned enemies but once you get the legendary version, that bonus damage becomes +100% base damage in addition to +100% critical damage. As you can clearly see the difference is staggering. We will be able to combine all of them in order to quickly shred through all our enemies.
These are just some of the new updates and features we can experience in Call of Duty: Vanguard. As you can see, there is quite a bit more we have left out for now but we managed to show you the bigger implementations, story and gameplay wise. If you are interested in our services, please do not hesitate to contact us on live chat so that we may be able to assist you with everything we can.
