Destiny 2 Exotic Weapon quest guide – Deathbringer
Destiny 2 Exotic Weapon quest guide – Deathbringer
Up next in our exotic weapons guide list is the amazingly powerful Rocket Launcher called Deathbringer. The name itself shows what the main idea behind this explosive beauty is. Keep in mind though that it can only be acquired if you own the Shadowkeep expansion and have completed the last mission in the story campaign of it. Once the main campaign is complete you will receive the Memory of Sai Mota quest, which surprisingly enough is the first step to acquire this amazing exotic weapon.
Let us begin with talking about how to get the weapon itself
After getting the Memory of Sai Mota quest, you will have to pick up the Lunar Spelunker weekly bounty from Eris. She is not hard to locate so there should be no serious difficulties with the beginning of it. After picking it up you will have to complete three lost Sectors, which are K1 Communion, K1 Logistics and K1 Crew Quarters.
After completing this you will unlock the next part, which is the Firewall Data Fragment quest step. You will once again have to go to a lost Sector but this time it is the K1 Revelation. After reaching the end chest, you will see a wall with a walkway, it is a big circle so you should see it easily. Just go down the walkway and you will reach a glass door which will prompt you to input the Firewall Data Fragments. After the door opens, just navigate to the console in the middle of the room and interact with it. By doing this will process the Data Fragments and receive the next step of the quest, Sai Mota’s Broken Necklace.
Here it is quite straightforward as you will have to farm out the Necklace Scraps by killing Nightmare enemies on the Moon, but keep in mind that you will have to use Arc Abilities only. There is no restriction on the enemies, as long as they are on the Moon. There is an easy way to farm them out though and that is, going to the Sorrow’s Harbour and farming out the players with the red hovering mass that spawns Ogres and a couple of other smaller Nightmare enemies.
Just by farming them out you should be able to complete this step quite quickly. It will probably take you around four to five rounds maximum. After gathering the required number of Scraps, you will have to go and meet Eris once again on the Southern part of the Moon. Just go through the portal there and give her the necklace, which we recently repaired. By doing this we will receive a Legendary weapon accompanied by the next quest step, which is called Faculties of the Skull.
Now that we have officially started the Symphony of Death Exotic quest line, we will have to navigate to the Circle of Bones, located deep underground on the Moon. Getting there is not extremely hard but it is time consuming. You will first have to head to the Hellmouth and proceed by heading underground and activate the quest marker for the Faculties of the Skull. It is recommended that you have at least 850 and above Power. Here you will have to complete the mission as expected and afterwards go back to Eris Morn in order to proceed further.
Up next is the Marrow’s Elegy which consists of three parts
First up you will have to get the Festering Bones by completing public events near the Hellmouth which shouldn’t pose much of a challenge. Then again comes a Lost sector that has to be completed, which is K1 Revelation so that you can get the Ritualistic Bones.
Lastly comes the more frustrating part of the three and that is locating and killing a wandering Bone Collector. This if you are lucky shouldn’t take long but unfortunately a lot of people farm them our constantly. One does spawn in the Anchor of Light and you will just have to wait around until you find them and then defeat them to get the Bone Collector’s Marrow.
By doing all these steps, afterwards you will have to proceed by locating and taking down High Conductor Sulmakta who is located in the Scarlett Keep Strike. There is nothing special about this strike or the boss itself, it is just a normal one. That means than you can just go ahead and do it through the Director Screen of the moon. Play through it until you get to the elevator section and them get off on the second stop where the enemies will start spawning. Locate the High Conductor and defeat them in order to proceed further with the exotic weapon quest.
And so we get to the next part which contains three steps, called “Of Darkest Harmony”!
The first part asks you to just kill regular enemies which should not be an issue. Next up go ahead and defeat different elites and mini-bosses and lastly defeat bosses or other Guardians. You can complete them on any planet but if you decide to do it on the Moon the progress will raise quicker.
After completing these three requirements you will have to navigate back to the Circle of Bones and do a different mission there. It will be called Choir of the Damned and you need to have at least 920 Power to do it. Just enter it and hunt down Ir Airam, Deathsinger to complete the last step of the quest. After all this you will finally get the Deathbringer and enjoy it to the fullest.
