WoW classic latest update

World of Warcraft Classic Update: Oceanic, French and German Realms Announced,  Known Issues Including Classes, Combat, UI and Texture Issues.

Blizzard has posted a World of Warcraft Classic Beta status update and has announced the arrival of Oceanic, French and German realms. Last we heard of World of Warcraft Vanilla severs would have English and Russian realms in Europe, but suddenly it has been confirmed that there will alsi be German and French realms following a high degree of interest and passionate feedback from the community.

Comments from Developers tell that after further review and considerations of our feedbacks, they will launch WoW Classic in the European region with French and German realms, in addition to the expected English and Russian realms, thus they will allow WoW Classic players in Europe to communicate with others in French or German from day one.

World of Warcraft players in the Oceania region will be happy to learn that Blizzard will also launch Oceanic realms to be able to connect to servers that are hosted in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.

In other WoW Classic related news – Blizzard has announced that the final stress test will be on the 25-26 of July( different from the last announcement). During the global test, they will roll out their multi-region Hardware in preparation for the worldwide release of WoW Vanilla.

In addition to getting many more testers to play through the initial leveling experience, it will be a test of the fixes and tweaks that they have made and are making to the game.

There are rumors that the Developers are planning a small in-game event to end the closed beta on July 12. They are making everything in their powers to see us, the gamers, there and they will post reminders for us just before the stress test, as well as reminders in August as we gather for name reservations and ultimately for the release of WoW Classic.

World of Warcraft Classic is slated for a release on August 27

In other news Blizzard has posted a list of know issues in the WOW Classic Beta test that kicked off earlier in May.

The closed beta for Blizzard`s upcoming World of Warcraft vanilla server option launched on May 15th, and Blizzard has now listed some of the apparent issues that the development team is aware of, including class and combat related issues alongside missing textures and more.

Blizzard mentions that this list is not a complete depiction of what they’re aware of, but a sampling of issues they believe players may encounter on regular basis.

Classes and Combat:

  • Activating Raptor Strike while Auto Shot is toggled on does not cause the hunter to begin to Auto Attack in melee

  • Hunter pets do not auto-cast Dash or Dive when engaging their targets

  • Hunter pets may not immediately return to your side upon entering passive mode

  • Many talents are currently missing their requirements text

User Interface:

  • Attempting to sign into twitter through the interface option crashes the client

  • World map path indicators during transport loading screens may be inaccurate

  • Items with randomly generated stats will display the <Random Enchantment> tag in the loot window and chat tooltips when being looted

Creatures and NPCs:

Some creatures in the game world are missing textures

There is a strip of missing water in the Mosshide Fen area of the Wetlands

There is no water present in the Ironclad Cove area of the Deadmines dungeon
